Certifications & technical data
Specified to commercial standards — documented per project.
BON flocked flooring is built for commercial tenders, and independently tested by SGS, Intertek and China’s National Carpet Quality Supervision & Inspection Center. Below are the verified results — fire, slip, acoustics, indoor air and hygiene — so your architect or specifier can put real numbers into the spec. The dated report for your specified product and batch is issued with your order.
Verified test results.
Independently tested by SGS, Intertek and the National Carpet Quality Supervision & Inspection Center. The dated report for your specified product and production batch is issued with your order.
Reaction to fire
Classified Bfl-s1 to EN 13501-1
Independently classified Bfl-s1 to EN 13501-1 by SGS — the European reaction-to-fire class commonly specified for commercial and public buildings (low flame spread, limited smoke). Tested per EN ISO 9239-1 (critical flux 8.1 kW/m²) and EN ISO 11925-2. We also supply to US ASTM E648 / NFPA 253 where your specification calls for it.
Slip resistance
Dynamic coefficient of friction 0.45
Tested by SGS to EN 13893 (dynamic coefficient of friction on dry floor surfaces): result 0.45 — above the 0.30 threshold for low slip potential, supporting healthcare, aged-care and public-area requirements. Ramp R-value (DIN 51130) confirmed on request.
Acoustics
Impact sound reduction ΔLw 21 dB
A textile surface is quieter underfoot than a hard floor. Tested by SGS to ISO 10140-1 / ISO 717-2, BON flocked flooring delivers a weighted impact-sound reduction of ΔLw = 21 dB — meaningful footfall-noise control for offices, schools, healthcare and hotel corridors.
Indoor air / formaldehyde
Formaldehyde not detected
Tested by SGS to GB 18587: formaldehyde not detected, styrene and 4-phenylcyclohexene not detected, and TVOC within limit — supporting indoor-air-quality requirements for schools, healthcare and offices. We confirm against the standard your tender references.
Hygiene
Anti-microbial — tested to AATCC 174
The flocked surface has been tested for antimicrobial activity to AATCC 174 (Intertek). Combined with the impervious backing and a washable nylon 6.6 surface, it supports the hygiene protocols of healthcare, aged-care and hospitality interiors. An anti-microbial treatment is available on request; current ISO 22196 testing can be arranged for a project.
Product quality
Conforms to QB/T 2755 (carpet tile)
Assessed by China’s National Carpet Quality Supervision & Inspection Center to QB/T 2755 — the national standard for carpet tiles — covering appearance and intrinsic-quality requirements, including dimensional stability and colour fastness.
Grades and classes are confirmed per specification and production batch; this page is indicative, not a substitute for the project test certificate.
