Workplace & Office
Flocked flooring for offices and workplaces.
An office floor has to do two opposite jobs at once: feel calm and quiet for the people working on it, and survive eight hours a day of rolling chairs, foot traffic and spilled coffee. Tufted carpet goes quiet but mats down under chair castors and stains; hard floors clean easily but are loud and cold. Flocked flooring sits in between — the warmth and acoustics of textile on a dense, sealed surface that wipes clean.
BON makes that surface at the factory: roughly 80 million nylon 6.6 fibres per square metre stood upright by a high-voltage electrostatic field and bonded to an impervious backing. The fibres are short and densely packed, so a chair castor rolls over them instead of crushing a pile flat — the floor still looks new after years where a cut-pile carpet would have worn a track.

What this space needs from a floor.
Chair-castor durability
The short, high-density flock does not have a pile to crush or matt, so desk and meeting-room zones keep their look under constant castor movement.
Acoustic comfort
A textile surface absorbs footfall and chatter — useful in open-plan floors where impact noise off a hard surface would carry.
Fast, dry-or-wet cleaning
Coffee, ink and food release from the sealed nylon 6.6 surface; routine vacuuming plus occasional wet or extraction cleaning keeps it presentable. No soaking through to the subfloor.
Tile for churn
In carpet-tile format you replace a single damaged tile rather than re-laying a room — practical for offices that reconfigure often.
Brand the floor
Our digital-print line can lay a company colourway, logo or wayfinding pattern into reception and breakout zones without a custom-range premium.

Questions for workplace & office.
Does flocked flooring matt down under office chairs? +
No. Unlike a cut-pile carpet, flocked flooring has a short, dense flock with no pile to crush, so chair-castor zones do not develop the flattened tracks you see on tufted carpet.
Can you supply office floors as carpet tiles? +
Yes — the office series are available as carpet tile for easy replacement and churn, and as roll/sheet for seamless large floors. Tell us the format you prefer.
